Characterization and design of the Arab Sector Development Authority website

Assisting the Authority for Economic Development of the Minority Sector in designing a website to enhance public access to information about activities and progress related to Government Decision 550
  • Business Dilemma/The Challenge:

Government Decision 550, an economic plan aimed at reducing disparities in Arab society by 2026, mandates the Authority for Economic Development of the Minority Sector to make information on all aspects of the decision and its implementation progress publicly accessible. TASC supported the Authority in developing a website to showcase both its general activities and specific initiatives under the ‘Tekadum’ (Government Decision 550) framework.

  • Process:

The website development process involved mapping existing publicly available information, conducting interviews with various stakeholders and potential users, forming and analyzing a user survey, and compiling user needs and requirements to support the site’s design. These enhancements aim to create a more comprehensive platform for sharing critical information with the public.

  • Strategic Solution & Impact:

TASC delivered several key outputs: initial characterization of the site structure and components (UX/UI design); an interactive prototype demonstrating the website design and functionality; an information catalog of required content; and a site map showing connections between pages and sections of the website. These deliverables provide a solid foundation for developing a user-friendly, informative website that aligns with the Authority’s public information goals.
